Vegetable Sushi

  • 4 x Sheets of Nori Seaweed
  • 1 portion of Almond Pate
  • Alfafa/Broccoli Sprouts
  • Half a Red Pepper cut into strips
  • 4 Spring Onions cut into oblong slices

 

Method:

You will need a roll up straw mat 40cm x 30cm.

  1. Lay a nori sheet on the straw mat.
  2. Spread a thin layer of almond pate on the sheet, leaving a small margin unspread at the edges.
  3. Divide the vegetables into four portions. Then place your first portion of the alfalfa/broccoli sprouts, peppers and spring onions at one end of the nori sheet, horizontally.
  4. Using the straw mat, roll the nori sheet tightly with the filling inside. When the roll is complete, use a pastry brush dipped into water to seal the roll.
  5. Repeat this process three more times.
